There is place for two more people in this fully furnished house with backyard. Walking distance to Rotterdam CS. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, one is already rented, two places are still available in this 145m2 large house with backyard. This offer is for ONE person per room (not everybody is reading this ad carefully enough I guess). Details about the rooms can be find below.
You will share the bathroom, kitchen, two toilets (one upstairs, one downstairs), backyard, shed, cloakroom and living room with the 3 of you. The downstairs area with the living room, cloakroom, toilet and kitchen is about 70m2 in total, the backyard is about 70m2 as well. The living room has a couch, a tv cabinet and two built-in closets. The dining room has another two built-in closets, a 6 person table and 6 seats. The kitchen has an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, cutlery, pots, pans, glasses, fridge, freezer, plates; all the basic stuff you will need. In the bathroom there are both a laundry machine AND a dryer! Towels included as well. One washing basket available in the bathroom.
There are two parking permits available, which provide on street parking (almost always space available right in front of the house). The first one to ask for a permit pays 66 EUR a year, the second person has bad luck: for him or her it’s 132 EUR a year. Permits can be obtained at the city hall, through a website (I will explain if you need one). No permit? Parking is free on Sundays and on weekdays after 18:00. There is also a charger for electric cars in front of the door.
There are two toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs. The bathroom has both a shower (separate) ánd a bathtub. The location of the house is more than perfect: only a 5 minute walk to Rotterdam Central Station.
In the backyard there is a 12m2 shed, really big. Lots of storage space. There is also garden furniture (4 seats and a table).
Please be aware. This is our house, not just some rental apartment. It was completely renovated a few years ago (new bathroom, new toilet, new walls, new ceilings, new wiring, new floors, new kitchen, new outer wall, new backyard, new everything basically, except the basement where you can’t store stuff because it’s too damp). We will be away ourselves for some time, therefore we rent it out. People who want to rent a room are expected to take really good care of it. Quiet, clean and responsible people (we have neighbours too) are therefore preferred. And you will need to take care of the backyard as well. The planted area is small, it will only take about half an hour per month.
Supermarkets are within walking distance (two), as well as a nightshop (one). The zoo is within walking distance as well (yes, there are lions, elephants and icebears within 500 meters from your room). 🙂
There is also a nightshop nearby, and Rotterdam Central Station (trains, buses, metro, trams) is about a 5 minute walk, in one straight line from the house. In front of the house are two soccer fields, and a basketball field. Indoor swimming pool and bowling ally are a 2 minute walk from the house (behind the soccer field). A track and field running course is a two minute walk away as well. There are many schools, daycare facilities, and international schools within walking distance from the house!

There is NO space in room 3 to sleep in, it’s meant to work in, and/or to store things in. You get both rooms, all for yourself, but it’s only for ONE person. You can not have a second person sleeping in the other room, simply because it’s not big enough.
The rooms are 595 EUR in total, including gas/taxes/water/light/internet/tv-connection/forementioned furniture.
